Well, yesterday was my farewell. I loved that I was able to testify my love of my Savior to my friends and family, it really just made me more excited to serve.
This being my last couple days home, a lot of people have been asking me the same question: Are you nervous? Excited? Sad?
My answer is all three--but more at peace than anything. Yeah I'm nervous, I am going to ARGENTINA--WHICH IS IN SOUTH AMERICA--WHICH IS FOREIGN. It's not like I will be a jump, step and a hop away. I wouldn't be human if I wasn't nervous.
OF COURSE I am excited. I love this Gospel so much. It has blessed my live and the life of my family. I know that because of my Savior Jesus Christ that I can repent and be CLEAN. I know my Savior made it possible for me to return to my heavenly home. Who wouldn't be excited to share such a beautiful message? OH yeah., EXCITED doesn't even cut it.
Sad? Okay maybe leaving family and friends can be hard, but I know that the Lord will watch over them while I am away. I have recently found a quote by Elder Holland that has brought me peace when I think about leaving family:
"I promise that because of your faithful response to the call to spread the gospel he will bind up your broken hearts, dry your tears and set you and your families free. That is my missionary promise to you and your missionary message to the world."
I know that my family WILL BE OKAY. I know that as i faithfully serve the Lord, everything will work out how its supposed to. I know this to be true.
Well EVERYONE, this is the last pre-mission post. My family will be posting my emails starting next week. The CHURCH IS TRUE! HURRAH FOR ISRAEL!
